One of Fantini’s most outstanding collections is Fontane Bianche. This project is the result of a deep research on archetypal forms, translated into pure geometry and reinterpreted with a contemporary approach.
The collection becomes a metaphor for the relationship between psyche and matter, and stands out for the dialogue between the circle and the square that runs through all its pieces.
The washbasin, for example, is presented as a square block of marble, from which a hemisphere is extracted that becomes a bowl on a subtle rectangular surface like a leaf.
Even the faucets incorporate this theme, with the spokes of the circle transforming into the faucets themselves.
The nobility of the materials used, such as marble and stone for the washbasins, as well as the Matt Gun Metal PVD finishes for the faucets, enhance the purity of the forms in this collection. The name of the collection, Fontane Bianche, is inspired by a beautiful white sandy Sicilian town near Syracuse, known for the many natural freshwater springs that flow into the sea.
